Walkers of all ages joined the Mayor’s Committee for Persons with Disabilities for the 26th Annual Hal K. Plonk Disability Awareness Walk. The weather was perfect for the walk along Center Street in downtown Goldsboro.
People filled the Hub in downtown Goldsboro as the walk began. Mayor David Ham carrying one side of the banner led the parade down Center Street. Afterward, participants enjoyed music and dancing to the hits from yesteryear. Mayor Ham joined the band for two songs.
