A  female victim was found Saturday suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office,  at approximately 4:46 pm, Deputies responded to a shooting that occurred in the area of Arrington Bridge Road & Westbrook Road.

The female victim was identified as Belinda Grady of Goldsboro. Grady was transported to Wayne UNC Healthcare and later transferred to ECU Health in Greenville in critical condition.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating this incident, and at this time, it appears to be isolated. As more details become available, they will be released.
