Linda Grimes Giuliani, 61, of Goldsboro, was called to her heavenly home and reunited with her family on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.

Linda was born on March 5, 1962, in Bristol, Tennessee to the late Allen Ray Grimes and Martha Ellen Lovelace Grimes.

Linda worked for Goldsboro Eye Clinic as a Certified Eye Technician and was the proud owner and operator of Southern Charm. When she wasn’t working, she enjoyed being outside. It was where she felt free and at peace. If she was at home, you could find her in the garden. But otherwise, she loved the beach and to be on the water was her happy place. This included fishing, boating, picking up shells, or just sitting and watching the waves roll. If she had to be inside, Real Housewives was likely on her TV.

Linda enjoyed getting to know others and she found her place as a member of the Red Hat Society. She was always ready to share her special chocolate-dipped strawberries she was so known for. She had a heart for others and for animals. She would do anything she could to lend a helping hand.

Her greatest joy was her grandchildren. They were the apple of her eye. She was affectionately named “HaHa” and this name stuck with the family. “HaHa” made sure her grandchildren were loved, taken care of, and spoiled as much as possible. Just being with her grandchildren made her heart full and her life complete.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 1, 2023, from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a service to celebrate Linda’s life at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Jim Harry officiating. A private entombment will be in the mausoleum in Wayne Memorial Park.

Linda is survived by her husband of 12 years, Mike Giuliani; children, Ashlee Schallert and husband, Chris, Stacy Sherman, Joseph Giuliani, and wife, Sommer, Daniel Giuliani and wife, Heather, and Sara Giuliani; grandchildren, Justin, Kya, Ethan, Catie, Peyton, Dylan, Kaylin, Katherine, Hayden, and Addison; sister, Melissa Zwerling and husband, Dr. Charles S. Zwerling and their children, Tiffany, Alexis, Haylee, and Charlee. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Rosetta Giuliani; father-in-law, Joseph Giuliani and wife, Sandra; and brother-in-law, and sister-in-law, Bret and Bethany Giuliani.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Allen Grimes, and nephew, Allen Ray Grimes, II.
