Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest for Trafficking Illegal Narcotics

A Goldsboro man has been arrested on multiple drug charges after a traffic stop led to the discovery of illegal narcotics.

According to the report, ACE Team Deputies were working in the City Limits of Goldsboro when Deputies stopped a vehicle for a fictitious registration plate. During the course of the traffic stop, a K9 was deployed and made a positive alert for the odor presence of illegal narcotics. A search of the vehicle and of Mr. Johnathan Diaz-Soriano resulted in 3,953 Grams of Cocaine, 1,742 Grams of Methamphetamine, 6,350 Grams of Marijuana, and 25 Grams of MDMA.

Mr. Diaz-Soriano, 36 of Goldsboro was arrested and charged with Traffic Cocaine (X2) Traffic Methamphetamine (X2), Traffic Marijuana(X2), PWIMSD Schedule I, Maintain Vehicle for Controlled Substance, Carrying Conceal Gun, and Possess Drug Paraphernalia.  Diaz-Soriano was given a 1.5 Million Dollar secured bond and placed in the Wayne County Jail.
