Iris Linda Carter Rose, 77, peacefully passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. Born in Greene County on May 22, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Jim Berry and Nellie Kearney Carter.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Arlen Rose, and daughter, Lisa M. Perry.

Linda is survived by her son, Roger W. Sauls, and wife, Susan of Wendell; step-sons, Ronnie Rose and wife, Cathy of Newport, Tony Rose and wife, Karla of Goldsboro, and Brian Rose and wife, Corrie of Emerald Isle; and grandchildren, Adam Sauls, Jacob Rose, Kacey Rose, and Tanner Rose.

For thirty years Linda was a valued employee of AP Parts in Goldsboro. Linda’s greatest love was for her family. Her children were her gift but her grandchildren became an even sweeter treasure.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 27, 2023, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a service to celebrate Linda’s life at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel with Rev. Scott Sauls officiating. The interment will be in the Eureka Cemetery.
