April 18, 2023, 80, Mount Olive –

In the wee hours of Tuesday morning, April 18, 2023, Judith Marie Morgan Harris, at the age of 80, passed into her eternal rest.

During most of her working years, Mrs. Harris had been employed in several restaurants and grills.  She was the widow of Eugene Rackley Harris and was the daughter of the late Walter J. Morgan and Dollie Mae Cook Morgan Temple and step-daughter of Monroe Temple.

Mrs. Harris is survived by her daughter, Margaret Louise Pike of Mount Olive; two grandchildren, Jeannie Marie Pike and Nikky Pike; a great-grandson, Casey-Gene Hollingsworth; a sister, Yvonne Smith of Sunbury; and three brothers, Randy Temple of Rosewood, and Kenneth Morgan of South Carolina, and Walter Morgan, Jr. of Virginia.

Her life will be remembered in a graveside service to be held Thursday, April 20, at 11 a.m. at Bethel Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, 3168 N.C. Highway 96 South, Four Oaks, N.C.
