GPD: Victim is Listed in Critical Condition

The victim, Tyreik Jaheim Artis, is currently listed in critical condition At ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville. Members of the Investigative Services Bureau are still actively investigating this incident and will release additional information in the near future.

A man is in stable condition after he was shot on Harding Drive Thursday.

According to the report, Goldsboro Police Department responded to a report of a male shooting victim at 1408 S Harding Drive. The male subject, who had been shot in the chest area, was transported to UNC Wayne Health by ambulance, and then to ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville via helicopter. 

The victim, identified as Tyreik Artis, is currently in stable condition at ECU Health. The Goldsboro Police Department’s Investigative Services Bureau and Crime Scene Unit were contacted and responded to the scene. The investigation is still developing.
