March 31, 2023, 80, Seven Springs –

James Arnold Price, a resident of the Seven Springs area, passed away early Friday morning, March 31, 2023, at his home.

He was the son of the late Carl B. and Johnnie Creel Price.  Having been a farmer, Mr. Price also had been employed as a truck driver with Seven Springs Supply Company and later, D.M. Price & Sons, Inc. from where he retired.

Graveside rites will be Sunday, April 2, at 4 p.m. at the Pineview Cemetery near Seven Springs.  Officiating will be the Rev. Johnny Strickland.  An opportunity to greet the family will be following the service.

Mr. Price is survived by his children, Wade Price and wife, Donna, of Clinton, Teresa Price of Seven Springs, and Charlotte P. Reaves and husband, Michael, of Dudley; grandchildren, Kody Snyder and wife, Georganna, Patrick Lee, Tammi Elizabeth Reaves, and Daniel Reaves; a great-grandchild, Landon Snyder; his former wife and the mother of his children, Lois Wolfe Price of Seven Springs; his brother, William Price of South Boston, Va.; and a special friend and long-time companion, Vivian McLawhorn of Greenville.
