Students entering 11 technical programs at Wayne Community College may be eligible for scholarships.
The Foundation of Wayne Community College’s “Top 11 Scholarship Program” is designed to encourage students to study and go into certain fields in which there are career opportunities. The programs to be included on the list are determined annually.
Those majors for 2023-2024 are Accounting and Finance, Artificial Intelligence Engineer, Aviation Maintenance, Computer Integrated Machining, Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, Forest Management, Human Services, Medical Assisting, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Medical Office Administration.
The scholarships provide full- or part-time in-state tuition and fees to qualifying students pursuing one of the designated diplomas or degrees at the college. The scholarships are renewable.

The Foundation of Wayne Community College provides around hundreds of scholarships each academic year to students enrolled in WCC college credit and continuing education courses. In addition to raising money for and dispersing scholarships, it provides funding for innovative campus, employee recognition, and program and facility enhancements, as well as offering cultural programs for the community.
