Nina Jo Godwin Evans, 41, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023.  She was born in Wilson County on September 5, 1981, to Shirley Hall Buck and the late Ricky Alan Godwin.  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, John Buck.

Nina is survived by her mother, Shirley Hall Buck; son, Wiley C. Evans IV. (Cole) of Goldsboro; sisters, Destiny Buck of Kenly and Tabitha Godwin of Kenly; maternal grandmother, Minnie L. Hall and uncle, Charles Hall.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at the home of Wiley and Sophia Evans, 110 Friendswood Dr., Goldsboro, NC.
