March 26, 2023, 96, Pikeville –

Treva Pugh Routh, 96, went home to be with her Lord Sunday, March 26, 2023, surrounded by her family.

She was born to the late Jack and Gladys Pugh.

Mrs. Routh was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Stevens Routh, a daughter, Donna Kirby, a brother, Charles Pugh, and a sister Irene Kirkman.

She is survived by her daughters; Kim Dean and husband Dwayne of Pikeville, Sandra “Sandy” Barnes and husband Dean of Goldsboro, son-in-law; Ernie Kirby, sister; Lois Edwards of Asheboro, grandchildren; Hunter Dean and wife Anna, Kennedy Dean, Stephen Tart and wife Dani, Caroline Warmack and husband Kyle, great-grandchildren; Brooks Dean, Reece Dean, and Dorothy Ray Warmack.

A graveside service will be held Friday, March 31, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Andy Stovall officiating. The family will receive friends following the service and at home.

The family would like to thank the entire staff of Gentiva Hospice for their wonderful care over the past year—a special thanks to her nurses Crystal, Chassidy, and her aide Ashley.
