There is a fundraiser Saturday for the families of officers shot in the August 1st shooting incident in Goldsboro.

Funds will support the families of Sgt. Matthew Fishman…Detective Ramon Torres and Sgt. Logan Cox — who were all shot as they attempted to deliver commitment papers to an address at Arrington Ridge Road.

Sgt. Fishman died. The other two officers survived.

There will be BBQ pork and chicken plates for $10 and raffle tickets for $20.

The event is at the Wayne County Fairgrounds on Highway 117.
