Mrs. Wilhelmina W. Thomas, 71, fought the good fight and finished her course on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at home surrounded by family. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Association Headquarters, 1800 S. Slocumb Street, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Golden Gate Memorial Gardens, 4734 Highway 117 North, Pikeville, NC. There will be a chapel visitation held on Friday, March 24, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.

She was born on November 21, 1951, in Wayne County, NC to Rosa Leen Cox Wellington and Hezekiah Jones Sr. She is survived by her husband, Linwood Earl Thomas; her children; grandchildren; her siblings and other loving relatives and friends.
