March 15, 2023, 83, Princeton –

Harvey Pearce, 83, of Princeton passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.  He was born in Wayne County on November 16, 1939, to the late Raymond Chester Pearce and Jessie Elzania Strickland Pearce.

Mr. Pearce owned his own business, Pearce Trucking Inc.  He was a truck driver, hauling logs, dirt, and gravel.  He served his country in the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ida Mae Fisher Pearce; daughters, Julia Pearce Weeks and husband, Walter (Wing Man) of Smithfield and Jessica Pearce of Princeton; grandchildren, Harvey J. Pearce (Hot Rod), Kaitlyn E. Weeks (Katie Boo), Brittany Mitchell, Hunter Mitchell, and Sylvia Phillips.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations.

The funeral will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 18, 2023, in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home and Cremations with the burial immediately after the service in Princeton Cemetery with the Reverend Dennis Pollock officiating.
