Habitat Continues to Build in Lenoir County

After a successful home build on McCaskill Drive in 2022, we are excited to announce we are opening up our next application process as we are looking for two qualified homeowners to build with in Lenoir County in 2024.

Applications will be accepted on our website and in-person until 4PM, Friday, May 12, with all documentation due by 4PM, Friday, March 26.

Applicants must live or work in Lenoir County, demonstrate their housing need, be within our income guidelines, have the ability to an affordable mortgage, and be willing to partner with Habitat to help build their home.

The two lots we have identified are on Harper Drive and Dunn Road. Our plan is to begin one home in early 2024 and the second in mid-2024.

Applications can be picked up and dropped off in person at Habitat Goldsboro-Wayne’s office at 2719 Graves Dr, Suite 3, as well as at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church (800 Rountree Street) and First Presbyterian Church (2101 N. Herritage Street). They also can be accessed online here.
