February 25, 2023, 88, Mount Olive –

Thelma Hall Royall, 88, resident of the Beautancus community near Mount Olive, found eternal rest Saturday afternoon, February 25, 2023.

Mrs. Royall was the widow of Henry Preston Royall.  She was the daughter of the late James Tallman “Jim” Hall and Rena Brock Hall and was preceded in death by three sisters, Margaret Teachey, Alice Burger, and Susan Herring, a brother, Jimmy Hall;  and a grandson.

Survivors include daughters, Connie Foss Munns and Deborah Foss Miller, both of Mount Olive; a sister, Jane Bradshaw, and husband, Tommy, of Rose Hill; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, with another on the way.

Services will be Wednesday, March 1, at 2 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home.  The Rev. Chris Turner will officiate, with burial to follow at the Roberts Family Cemetery.  Visitation will be at the funeral home during the hour before the service.
