Carol Priscilla Miller Springer, 83, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at UNC Health Wayne. Born in Rushville, Indiana on January 17, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Moster Miller.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Springer, and brother, Vince Miller.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Melissa McGill, and husband, Jeff; son, Duane Hazelwander and wife, Carla; grandchildren, Britany Hazelwander and Derrick McGill; great-granddaughter, Mason McGill; and siblings, Gloria Martin, Joan Driscoll, and Gretchen Barber.

Carol was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Carol attended The Bridge in Princeton.

A service to celebrate Carol’s life will be announced at a later date.
