Marcos Rodriguez II was born in Anchorage, Alaska to Denise R. Smith and Marcos Rodriguez. He was a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School in 2020. He was in his 3rd year of college earning a degree in nutrition to become a Registered Dietician. He loved music and cooking. He played the trumpet in competitions at many levels. He was loved by all and loved to travel.

A service of love and remembrance will be held on February 18 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.

In addition to his parents, Marcos is survived by his sister, Shawna Rodriguez, and boyfriend, Cody Nassef; brother, Ashby Smith; grandpa, Douglas Massey; Papa, Isidro Rodriguez; and Nana, Jessie Garcia-Rodriguez.
