Lettie Marie Turnage Bissette, 86, of Goldsboro, passed away at her residence on Saturday. She was the daughter of the late Leonard Lee Turnage and Emma Pauline Price Turnage and was the wife of the late Stephen Henry Bissette. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed hearing the birds sing, working on puzzle books, and being with her family. She also had a special love for her dogs Zoey and Alley. She enjoyed spending time with her church, Trinity Free Will Baptist Church of La Grange, and her church family.

A service of love and remembrance will be held on Tuesday at 5:00 P.M. in the Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Gerald Fowler officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Committal services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at Wayne Memorial Park.

 She is survived by her children, Debora Langdon, and husband, Daniel of Four Oaks, Tracy Bissette and wife, Diane of Pikeville, and Lisa Person and husband, Dion of Clayton; 8 Grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; and a special niece, Irene Tyndall.
