JoAnn Beatrice Delano, 59, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023, at UNC Health Wayne. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii on September 18, 1963, she was the daughter of Joyce Mae Bean Delano of Goldsboro and the late John Franklin Delano.  In addition to her father, JoAnn was preceded in death by her brother, Jonathan Harold Delano.

JoAnn is survived by her mother, Joyce Bean Delano; husband, Christopher Alfonzo McDuffie; children, Corinthus Delano and Emani McDuffie; and four grandchildren.

JoAnn was an employee of Franklin Baking Company in Goldsboro.

A service to celebrate JoAnn’s life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints – Goldsboro Ward with Bishop Dave Remington officiating. The family will receive friends in the hour prior to the service from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the church. A private interment will take place at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Princeton.
