January 29, 2023, 75, Dudley –
Peggy Jean Jennette Warrick received complete healing on Sunday, January 29th in her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Wayne County on November 14, 1947, to the late Clinton and Dona Summerlin Jennette.
Loved ones who preceded her in death are her late husband of 55 years, Ronnie D Warrick; her brothers, Clinton (Pete) Jennette and Billy Jennette and her sister, Anne Wilkie.
Left to cherish many wonderful memories are her daughters, Shannon Fralick (Jason) of Dudley and Tamara Jones (Jimmy) of Winterville; granddaughters, Brandy Kay (Kevan) of Green Bay, Wisconsin, and Olivia and Ava Jones of Winterville; her sister, Terri Gardner (Charles) of Dudley and several nieces and nephews that she cherished.
Peggy was a 1966 graduate of Southern Wayne High School and continued her education at Wayne Community College and Swinson’s School of Cosmetology. She started her professional administrative career with Taylor Beverage Co. of Goldsboro, Amity Leather of Goldsboro and recently retired after 20 years of administration work for Eastern Aluminum Supply of Goldsboro. She may also be remembered for her talent for making Wedding Cakes.
A Graveside Celebration of Life will be held Friday, February 24th at 2:00 pm at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro. The family will greet friends immediately following.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
