Mrs. Carolyn R. Cox, 74, peacefully slept away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at home. The celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at 4:00 pm with a viewing from 3:00 pm to 3:45 pm at the Goldsboro-Raleigh District Assembly (GRDA), 211 West Hooks River Road, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at a later date at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro, NC 27534.

She was born on November 3, 1948, in Wayne County, NC to Rosell M. Robinson Sr. and Luevonia Broadhurst Robinson. She is survived by her husband, John Harrison Cox of the home; daughter, T’Nika Shavon Cox of Goldsboro, NC; son, Tereudum Ace Cox (Karen); her grandchildren; siblings and other loving relatives, her Food Lion work family and friends.
