Gaynell Lofton departed this walk of life Saturday, January 21, 2023, at the age of 97.

The funeral service will be held Friday, January 27, 2023, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. Burial will follow at Wilson Family Cemetery in Goldsboro. A viewing will be held prior to the service from noon until 12:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
