Julia Pelletier Daniels, 97, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023. Julia was born in Lenoir County to the late William Thomas and Cora Hughes Pelletier on December 15, 1925. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie “Dick” Daniels; and four sisters.

A member of Woods Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, Julia faithfully attended services as long as she was able. Known by her family as an excellent cook, many enjoyed the meals prepared by her hands.

A service of love and remembrance will be held by the graveside on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service.

Julia is survived by her daughter, Jessie Potter, and husband, Ray; grandson, Jerry Herring, and wife, Angie; three great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; 1 step-grandson; 1 step-great-grandson; and three sisters.
