Joan Campbell Price, 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 1, 2023. As we entered into the new year, she entered into the presence of her Savior. A native of Westminster, SC, she was born on June 20, 1933, to the late George Washington and Lillie Bishop Campbell.

Joan proudly served in the United States Air Force and for many years was an active member of Adamsville Baptist Church. Everyone would agree that she had a true gift for serving others. Joan set an example for all as a godly wife, mother,  grandmother, sister, and friend. Joan loved to be on the golf course on a beautiful day and enjoyed painting many lovely pictures.

She is survived by her children, Dennis Price (wife Lynn) of Cary, Danny Price (wife Sharon) of Eureka, Chris Price (wife Karen) of Raleigh, Nancy Price Register (husband Charles) of Raleigh; grandchildren, Douglas (Susan), Andrew (Tamany), Melissa (Wayne), Joshua (Gail), Alyssa, Lauren, Kristen (Bryan), Lily, Lyle (Ashley); great-grandchildren Elliana, Serena, Charlotte, Addalynn, David Ethan, Bobbie, Ireland, Campbell, Jett, Juliette, and Sophia; sister Junita Czlapinski of Pittsburgh, PA and brother Paul Campbell of Westminster, SC.

In addition to her parents and three siblings, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, David Earl Price. They shared 64 wonderful years of marriage together.

A graveside service will be held on January 6, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro. Rev. Pat Kilby will be officiating and Military Honors observed.

The family will receive friends following the service at the family home located at 600 N. Jefferson Ave.
