Carolyn Westbrook Weeks, 77, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

Carolyn was born in Henderson, Kentucky on January 9, 1945, to the late James Edward Westbrook and Anna Laura Phillips Westbrook. She adored her professional career as a Registered Nurse of 29 years at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Carolyn was a devoted wife of 57 years, committed to her family of 5 boys, and loved by all that knew her. Carolyn loved her church and enjoyed singing in the church choir at The First Pentecostal Church.

A service to celebrate Carolyn’s life will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at The First Pentecostal Holiness Church located in Goldsboro officiated by Pastor Bill Rose and Pastor Bailey Weeks (Carolyn’s grandson). The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow the service at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Princeton.

Carolyn is survived by her sons and their spouses: Steve Weeks and wife, Amy, Rick Weeks and wife, Beverly, Frankie Weeks and wife, Jennifer; grandchildren, Ivey, Anna, Amber, Bailey, Bentley, Tyler, Macy, Elizabeth, and Will Weeks; brother, Donald Ray Westbrook, and wife, Wanda; sister-in-law, Wanda Westbrook; and several nieces and nephews she loved very much.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cleaford Earl Weeks Jr.; sons, Edward (Eddie) Earl Weeks and James (Jim) Edgar Weeks; and brother, James (Sparky) Westbrook.
