Mr. Claude E. Artis, 83, ascended to his Heavenly home on Monday, December 26, 2022, at home surrounded by his loving family. The celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at 12:00 pm with a viewing from 11:00 am to 11:45 am at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.

He was born on February 9, 1939, in Wayne County, NC to Thad Artis Sr. and Laurina Coley Artis. He is survived by his loving wife, Evangelist Dr. Lillie M. Young-Artis, and other loving relatives and friends.
