December 14, 2022, 64, Grantham –

Jacquelin Barwick Grady, known to most as Jackie, passed away suddenly Thursday night, December 14, 2022, at the home of a daughter at Grantham.  She was 64.

Jackie was a member of Northeast Original Free Will Baptist Church and had been employed as a legal secretary in the offices of Attorney Charles Gaylor.  She had been married to the late Billy Vance Grady.

Jackie is survived by her mother, Maggie “Bumps” Jernigan Barwick, of Mount Olive; her children and their spouses, Billy Vance Grady, Jr. and Donna Jones Grady, of the Pleasant Grove community, Mount Olive, Aaronia Grady Jones and Chris Jones, of Newton Grove, and Leighanna Grady Kornegay and Jonathan Kornegay of Grantham; eight grandchildren, Riley, Laylah, and Marlee Grady, Gage Williams, Gracie Jones, Emma, Mary Katherine, and Paisley Kornegay; three sisters, Rose Barwick Conley of Dudley, Peggy Barwick Southerland and husband, Ronnie, of La Grange, and Jo Barwick Brown and husband, William, of Mount Olive; a brother, James Aaron “Buddy” Barwick, Jr. of Mount Olive; and several nieces and nephews.

Jackie’s father was the late James Aaron Barwick.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 18, starting at 1 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 2 p.m.

Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park after the service.  At other times, friends and family may gather at the home of Aaronia and Chris Jones, 449 Corbett Road, Newton Grove.

In lieu of flowers, monetary contributions to either the family or the funeral home to assist with expenses would be appreciated.
