Vertie Louise Lett Holland died Sunday Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Graveside services will be Friday at 3:00 P. M. at Maplewood Cemetery, The Rev. Rick Mondell and Mr. Eugene Lewis will officiate.

There will be a time for sharing with the Family and Friends following the service.

Surviving is a son Robert Kirk Holland (April) of Goldsboro, and a daughter, Linda Holland Whitmore (Kenny) of Otis Orchards, WA. A sister-in-law Mary Emmerlee Lett of Clinton. Fiance’ David Allen Evans. Grandchildren, Robert Jordan Holland (Hannah), Timothy Jared Holland and Kenny Whitmore, Jr. and a great-grandchild, Sierra Whitmore.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vertie Mae Crumpler Lett and Thomas Elmer Lett and a sister Colonial Mae Carr a brother Thomas S. Lett. She was a charter member of Brogden United Methodist Church and a retired accountant with Mayflower Security and Storage Co.
