December 1, 2022, 80, Goldsboro –

Oscar Orben Wiggs, age 80, passed away Thursday night at his home with his loving family by his side.  Born in Wilson County, NC to the late Oscar V. Wiggs and Lillie Ferrell Wiggs.  Mr. Wiggs retired from Kemp Furniture after 31 years of service.  

A service to celebrate his life will be held Sunday, December 4, 2022, at 2:30 pm in the sanctuary of Goldsboro P.F.W.B Church with Rev. Crystal Hart officiating.  The family will greet friends following the service.

Mr., Wiggs is survived by his wife, Edith Wiggs of Pikeville, Son, Steven A. Wiggs (Terry) of Goldsboro, Daughter Sharon McKenzie (David) of Pikeville, Three Step-Daughters- Teresa Repass (Jay) of Kinston, Tammy Mooring (Carl) of Pikeville, Pam Walker (Gene) of Goldsboro. One Brother- Carroll Wiggs (Beaulah) of Nash Co.  Six Grandchildren- Matthew Wiggs, Elizabeth Wiggs, Harley Yelverton, Willie Yelverton, Katie Ayres, Amber Rackley. Six Step Grandchildren- Justin Pike, Melissa O’Merry, Carly Mooring, Jacob Mooring, Ashley Stallings, Christian Walker.  One Great Grandchild Jazmine Botarro, 20 +Step- Grandchildren also survive.
