Beverly Boyette Godwin, 78, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2022, at Countryside Village in Pikeville.

Born on February 6, 1944, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, she was the daughter of the late John Wilson and Marguerite Archibald Wilson.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home in Goldsboro.

Beverly is survived by her children, David Scott Boyette and wife, Athena, Mike Boyette and wife, Tammy, Melissa Godwin and husband, Neil; grandchildren, Lindsey Bero, Johnathan Boyette, Christopher Boyette, Bryan Boyette, Jaz’lyn Moore-Parrish, Jeffrey Johnson, Lacy Cummings, and Gus Godwin; two great-grandchildren as well as her sisters, Cheryl, Diane, and Susan and one brother, Johnny.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Donahue Boyette; her second husband, Hayward Godwin; her sister, Nancy Glodeck; and her stepmother Ginny Wilson.
