November 25, 2022, 68, Mount Olive –

Cynthia Lucille Taylor, 68, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022, at Genesis Health Care in Mount Olive where she had resided for the last 15 years.

Cindy, as she was called, was a native of the Pleasant Grove community near Mount Olive.  For most of her adult life, she resided in the Linden community in Harnett County.  Until a freak accident rendered her totally disabled, she had been a school teacher for special needs students at Westover High School in Cumberland County. 

Cindy is survived by her husband, Randy Lee Dalley, of Linden; a son, James Cooper “Jamey” Hinson, of the Pleasant Grove community; a granddaughter, Taylor Hinson of Sanford; a sister, Sylvia T. Jordan of the Pleasant Grove community; two brothers, Shelton Taylor of Vass, and Stevie Taylor of the Pleasant Grove community; and several nieces and nephews.

Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 29, at Tyndall Funeral Home beginning at 1 p.m. with funeral services following at 2 p.m.  Burial will be in the Will Taylor Family Cemetery.
