Maebelle Juanita Aiello, 97, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022, at Moses Cone Health Hospital in Greensboro. Born in Wayne County on January 18, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Walter Person and Mary Greene Person.

Juanita is survived by her sons, Philip Aiello and wife Rae; Neal Aiello and wife Mary Ann; grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Dana, Patricia, and Lindsey; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by husband Neal C Aiello; daughter, Mary Nancy Petrick; grandson, William Aiello; great-grandson, William Aiello and her sisters, Gladys Crumpler, Filie Nordan, and Hilda Barwick Sanders.

A graveside service to honor her life will be held on Monday, November 14, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Willowdale Cemetery in Goldsboro. The family will receive friends following the service.

In lieu of flowers, a charitable contribution of choice in Juanita’s name is preferred.
