Phyllis Lauren (Newman) Wiggins

Phyllis Lauren (Newman) Wiggins

October 28, 2022, 75, Dudley –

Born Jan. 8, 1947. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.D. & Kitty Newman, her sisters Luella Marie Newman, and Brenda N. Scott & brother David Newman. She is survived by her brother Dan Newman, his wife Margie, her son Eric Wiggins, his wife Rachel, son Jeff Wiggins, his wife Janeen and 4 grandchildren Austin, Amber, Madelyn, and Breeana, her brothers-in-law, James Scott & Nolan Wiggins, his wife Daisy Jo and sister-in-law Susan Ruffner. She has many cousins, aunts & uncles who she was close to and many friends who she considered to be her family too.

She had a kind heart; she would do what she could to help others even if it meant going into debt herself. She never met a stranger, wanting to know who they were, who they were related to, and if they knew so-and-so. She always had a little joke to share. She worked hard as a loving mother to teach her children to serve Jehovah & be loyal no matter what happened in life. She also cared deeply for her grandchildren and wanted to see all of us happy.

She was baptized on Dec. 9, 1957, as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and spent her whole life talking to others about Jehovah to defend his name and teach the truth concerning things such as what happens at death. She looked forward to God’s promise of a paradise where she will be able to see her momma & daddy again as well as see other family members who have fallen asleep in death and be able to live with perfect health, having all the time in the world to enjoy reading, relaxing, spending time with family as well as all of you reading this. She faced many trials in her life and despite succumbing to death she still proved victorious in her fight for life as she is now in God’s memory waiting for a resurrection. She has a cherished place in all of our hearts and no doubt we look forward to seeing her again and hearing one of her little one-liner jokes.
