Goldsboro Police Department was dispatched Sunday morning after 911 received a call. The call received at approximately 8:25 a.m., was about a welfare check. When officers arrived, they observed that the unknown victim was unresponsive and requested EMS. Wayne County EMS responded and pronounced the victim deceased. First Responders paraded around Berkeley Mall on Saturday. Overnight officers with the Goldsboro Police Department received a 911 call, along with a ShotSpotter alert, for shots fired in the 100 block of Rockefeller Court.
