Beulah Barbour Sanders, age 83, passed away Wednesday at her home.  Born in Mercer County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Quincy Ambers Cleary and the late Mary Idella Carnett Cleary, and the wife of the late Bob Barbour. Beulah was a member of Stoney Creek Church, the Order of the Eastern Star, and a former Branch Manager at Wachovia Bank.

A service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Pastor Josh Whitfield officiating. The family will greet friends on Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Sanders; a brother, Michael Cleary, and wife, Kimberly; a sister, Lula Mae Wall; a sister-in-law, Helen Parker, and husband, David; stepdaughters, Laura Kell and husband, Eric, and Terri Sanders; step-grandchildren, Micah Baker, Justin Kell, Ryan Kell, and Tyler Kell; and a beloved nephew, Marvin Holcomb.
