Lee Peter Sargent, 49, long time cable technician with Spectrum, and a resident of the Indian Springs community, Seven Springs, passed away early Wednesday morning, October 19, 2022

A worship service to remember Lee’s life will be Sunday, October 30, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Mount Olive Presbyterian Church.  The Rev. Ken Earwood will preside.  Following the service, the family will greet relatives and friends in Baker Fellowship Hall adjacent to the sanctuary.

Lee was preceded in death by his mother, Sara Anne Garrott Sargent; a brother, Steven F.. Sargent II; and his grandparents, Edward and Sarah Garrott, and Fred P. and Shirley J. Sargent.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Elizabeth “Buffy” Stentz Sargent, of the home; a daughter, Sarah Beth Sargent, of the home; a son, Pete Sargent, Jr. with Kay Edwards, of the home; his father, Steven Frederick Sargent, and wife, Marilyn Sargent, of Fayetteville; his twin sister, Emily Trujillo, and husband, T. J., of Berea, KY, his other sister, Chantal Cain and husband, Steve, of Fayetteville; a brother, Anthony Johnson, and wife, Bonnie, of Florida.  While the Sargent family is mourning their tremendous loss, they are overjoyed with the arrival of Lee and Buffy’s grandchild, Sienna Sargent, born in the wee hours of  October 20.
