October 19, 2022, 81, Goldsboro –

Jean Lynette Smith Lancaster, age 81, passed away Wednesday at her residence. Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late John Freeman Smith and the late Mary Frances Teachey Smith and the wife of the late Donald Ray Lancaster. She was a member of the Faro Chapel Church and formerly employed with Barry’s of Goldsboro.

A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11:00 am at the Eureka Cemetery with Rev. Jim Willoughby officiating. Family members will greet friends at the grave.

She is survived by her son, Christopher Ray Lancaster, and her daughter, Lynette Dawn Lancaster.
