Wayne County Commissioners proclaimed October 28, 2022, as National First Responders Day in Wayne County during their meeting Tuesday. 

Alex Westbrook, Wayne County EMS Operations Officer, presented a proclamation for First Responders Day in Wayne County. Wayne County First Responders are our family members, neighbors, friends, church members, and co-workers who are trained as law enforcement officers, firefighters, emergency medical technicians, and dispatchers to provide assistance in the time of our need.

Wayne County First Responders Day recognizes the heroic men and women who make it their business to take immediate action when disaster strikes.
