Mother Lula M. Sutton, 93, was a faithful servant of the Lord & received her crown on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at the Wilson Health & Rehabilitation Center, Wilson, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022, at 12:00 noon at St. James Church of Christ DOC, 514 Memorial Church Road, Fremont, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Fremont Cemetery, 174 Winding Branch Ave, Fremont, NC. There will be a church wake held on Thursday, October 20, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm with the family arriving to receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the St. James Church of Christ DOC, 514 Memorial Church Road, Fremont, NC.

She was born on July 5, 1929, in Wayne County, NC to Jonah Wilson and Easter Lane Wilson. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and other loving relatives and friends.
