Myra Miller Thomason, 99, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at the Brian Center. Born in Haralson County, Georgia on June 9, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Lela Drew Miller.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Andrew Thomason; son, Walter Thomason; and grandson, Michael Edgerton.

Myra is survived by her daughter, Janie Edgerton, and husband, David of Goldsboro; daughter-in-law, Rose Thomason of Crossville, TN; and grandchildren, Jeffrey, Erik, Mark, Amy, and Michelle.

Myra worked for over twenty years as a sales clerk with Belk in Rome, Georgia. She was a dedicated and faithful member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Rome, Georgia where she served in various capacities.

After the death of Mr. Thomason, Mrya moved to Goldsboro to be near her daughter, Janie.

A graveside service to celebrate Myra’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at the East View Cemetery in Rome, Georgia.
