Thomas Francis Gibbons, III, 74, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022, at Wayne UNC Health Care. Born in Oak Harbor Island, Washington on July 10, 1948, he was the son of the late Thomas Francis Gibbons, II and Euggene Dorothy Pearson Gibbons.

Thomas is survived by his wife of twenty-one years, Linda Gibbons; step-children, Anna Rose, Jessica Lettera, and Frank Lettera; brothers, Kevin Gibbons and Michael Gibbons; three nephews; and two nieces.

Thomas proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He attended New Hope Church.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
