Sylvia Wanella Denise Daniels, 68 passed away Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. She is the daughter of the late Walter J. and Vonzella Daniels. She was the owner and operator of Goldsboro Auto Broker. She enjoyed shagging to beach music, singing karaoke, playing bingo, and traveling, but most of all she loved to be with her grandkids. In the past, she attended Trinity Baptist Church.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at 4:00 P.M. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Sauls officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.

Sylvia is survived by her children, Scott Thomas of Royal Palm, FL, Aimee Moore and husband, Mike of Goldsboro, and Brandi Thigpen and husband, Corey of Goldsboro; a sister, Wanda Williams, and husband, Wallace of Eureka, NC; grandchildren, Brandon Thigpen, Trey Daughtry, Morgan Thomas, Olivia Thigpen, and Christian Moore; a niece, Chanda Madar; a nephew, Jason Lewis; and friends, Trudy Coker and Steve Gregory

In addition to her parents, Sylvia was preceded in death by her grandson, Camden Michael Ray Thigpen, and her fur baby, Tuffy.
