Joyce P. Seigworth, 80, 1611 East Maple Street died Sunday at her residence.

Until her retirement, she was a bookkeeper of the Girl Scout Council. She was a graduate of Goldsboro High School Class of 1960 and a graduate of Wayne Community College.

A private service is to be held.

Surviving is a son Ronald P. Seigworth of Goldsboro. Sister, Pauline P. Wilder of Cary and several niece and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Nellie Jane Jones Pope and Elworth Repton Pope (Formerly Asst. Fire Chief of Goldsboro), and sisters, Barber Pope Digby and Euice Pope Holland.
