United Way of Wayne County is gearing up for its annual food festival, Taste of Wayne County. The event will be held at The Hub in downtown Goldsboro on Saturday, October 8th from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. Enjoy sampling the best of our local food and beverages at this outdoor food festival. This year TASTE will include beer sales sponsored by R&R Brewing and Goldsboro Brew Works. Beer tickets will be sold separately. Those planning to visit the beer booths must have a valid ID.

This year’s entertainment is sponsored by Curtis Media. Jeff Farrow will be live broadcasting the event from 11:00 – 1:00 and Averil Williams will be emceeing the event from 11:00 – 2:00 including music and live mentions during the New Day morning show!

We are excited to have some of Wayne County’s finest food and beverage establishments participating this year! Papa Murphy’s, Bricks Woodfire Pizza, Justo’s Grillin, Great Harvest, Artis Daily Bread, Go Go Berries, Mimmo’s Pizza N Pasta, Bee Keepers of the Neuse, Village Steakhouse, Funky Fresh, Grate Sauces and Rubs, and Barrique, just to name a few! Tickets are $15 per person if purchased ahead of time and $20 if purchased at the event. Children 6 and under are free with a paid adult admission. Beer tickets are sold separately.
