Mr. Earnest L. Waters Sr., 84, completed this earthly walk of life on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 12:00 pm with a viewing from 11:00 am to 11:45 am at the Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Association Headquarters, 1800 S. Slocumb Street, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Old Mill Cemetery, 3718 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, NC.

He was born on January 23, 1938, in Greene County, NC to David and Ida Mae Shackleford Waters. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, and other loving relatives and friends.
