On Sept. 28, 2022, at approximately 6:09 a.m., Goldsboro Police Department’s “D” shift officers responded to a First Degree Burglary in the 900 Block of Hugh Street. Once on scene, officers discovered that an altercation had taken place between the suspect 26-year-old Rakeem Hasad Pipkin, and the victim, 26-year-old Kayla Kayshon Price, resulting in them both being injured.
Both parties were transported by EMS to UNC Health Wayne for treatment of injuries that were not life-threatening.
Investigators and a crime scene specialist from the Goldsboro Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division responded to the scene. This is an ongoing investigation.
