A handful of volunteers from the Dudley Fire Department were busy Saturday morning as they met with Frank Sasser at Southern Wayne High School for a day of learning how to operate their engines on emergency calls.
The new rookies were learning how to properly lay a five-inch supply line from the drop hydrant location to the scene, along with the proper way to connect the hose to the right intake on the engine.
