September 14, 2022, 68, Pikeville –

Shelton Ivey Creech, 68, of Pikeville departed this walk of life Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at home.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. The family will greet friends following the service. A private burial will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont.

Mr. Creech was born in Wayne County on October 10, 1953, to the late Edward Ivey Creech and Lorraine Coker Creech. He was a member of Union Grove Free Will Baptist Church in Fremont and retired from Pepsi Bottling Ventures. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed working. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by one daughter, Michelle Cuddington, and husband, Jamey of Kenly; one brother, Ronnie Creech, and wife, Jackie of Dudley; two grandchildren, Hannah and Macie, and his beloved dog, Coco.

Mr. Creech was preceded in death by his son, Shelton Bryan Creech, and his sister, Rita Ann Locklear.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
