August 30, 2022, 92, Goldsboro –

James Irving Barefoot, age 92, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Eagle’s Point Assisted Living Facility in Goldsboro, NC.  Born in St. Petersburg, FL, he was the son of the late F.E.  and Bertie Carr Barefoot. He retired from Howell’s Child Care Center in LaGrange, NC after 25 years of service and was a member of Freedom Baptist Church in Goldsboro, NC.

A graveside service to celebrate James’ life will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Westview Cemetery in Kinston, NC with Rev. Jonathan Smith officiating. 

He is survived by Vicki Davis and many other extended family members.
